MY EFFORT
===================
BLUE IS
THE COLOR OF LOVE

Ancient African woman
Whose name remains unknown
Is Burial #009
We will never know
Her life and culture
Determined in excavation
By burial dress
Waist beads around her hips
Beads of cowric shells
Of glass
And amber shades
Of black and white and
Blue beads on her wrists
Symbols of wealth and power
Of royalty
Blue beads to show
She was loved
And respected
And so
Had been buried
With care
